OperationShadowlands2025

September 27, 2025

The year is 2034, and the Shadowlands stand on the brink of war once again. The emergence of the Core of Eternity has reignited old hostilities, with each faction determined to seize control of the relic and use its vast energy to achieve their goals. For The Forgotten, the Core represents the hope of a lasting society. For The Last Hope, it is the key to restoring civilization. And for The Shroud, it is the ultimate weapon of control.

The battle for the Shadowlands has begun anew, and with it, the fate of the world hangs in the balance. Whoever claims the Core of Eternity will hold the future in their hands, able to shape the world according to their vision—whether that be order, freedom, or darkness.

The Forgotten (2034)

Following their victory, The Forgotten consolidated their power within the Shadowlands, establishing small but resilient communities. Over the past decade, they managed to maintain control of key resources and defended their territory fiercely. While some within their ranks advocated for expansion beyond the Shadowlands, others were content to focus on creating a self-sustaining society free from the corruption that plagued the world before the Great War.

In 2034, the discovery of The Core of Eternity, a relic capable of powering entire cities for millennia, changed everything. This ancient device, rumored to be an energy source beyond any pre-war technology, could turn the tide of survival for generations. For The Forgotten, the Core of Eternity represents a chance to transform their society into something truly lasting—a beacon of hope that could fuel a utopia amidst the chaos of the world.

But the relic’s emergence brings uncertainty. While some leaders within The Forgotten see it as a means to finally cement their rule over the Shadowlands and expand their influence, others fear that such immense power could attract the very forces they worked so hard to defeat. The prospect of the relic falling into enemy hands threatens their future, and the faction is now preparing to defend their hard-won land once again.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sounds like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.

The Last Hope (2034)

Since their defeat in the Shadowlands, The Last Hope has rebuilt their forces, retreating to military outposts and gathering strength for the inevitable return. For them, the Core of Eternity represents far more than just power—it is the key to restoring order to the world. With such an unlimited energy source at their disposal, The Last Hope could re-establish infrastructure, restore cities, and rebuild civilization itself.

Led by Commander Elyon, The Last Hope believes that the relic is their destiny. They see themselves as the rightful protectors of humanity, and in their eyes, the Core of Eternity is not just a power source but a symbol of their mission to bring stability back to a broken world. With it, they could lead humanity out of the dark age and into a new era of prosperity.

Driven by this vision, The Last Hope now marches toward the Shadowlands once more. Their leaders are determined to claim the relic, believing that only through control of this immense power can they bring peace and order to the shattered world. Failure is not an option, as they fear that without The Last Hope, the world will spiral further into chaos and destruction.

The Shroud (2034)

After their forced retreat from the Shadowlands, The Shroud did not disappear; instead, they retreated into the dark corners of the world, operating in secret and growing stronger in the shadows. The discovery of the Core of Eternity has reignited their ambition. Unlike The Last Hope, who seeks to restore the old world, The Shroud sees the relic as a means to ensure their dominion over all other factions.

The Shroud views power as something to be hoarded and used to dominate. With access to the limitless energy of the Core of Eternity, they could turn the Shadowlands—and eventually the entire world—into their stronghold. Umbraxis, their enigmatic leader, believes that controlling this power would give them the leverage to plunge the world into submission. For The Shroud, the relic is not just a source of energy; it’s a weapon to be wielded against those who would challenge their supremacy.

Now, their operatives are once again on the move, slipping through the shadows and preparing for the coming battle. With the Core of Eternity within reach, The Shroud sees an opportunity to strike fear into the hearts of their enemies, using the relic to fuel their rise to uncontested power.

Operation Shadowlands 2025 – Event-Specific Rules

All Airsoft Charleston general field rules are in effect and take priority over all event-specific rules.

This event will not include a “bang bang” rule, you must hit your target for them to be taken out.

Main Bases:

  • These serve as your operational HQ and staging area.

  • You may leave gear (BBs, speed loaders, batteries, etc.) at your base and use it to reload or change batteries.

  • No reloading or gear changes at Forward Spawn Points or on the field. You can only reload mags or batteries at your Main Base.

  • A Commanding Officer (CO) will be stationed at each main base, distributing intel and missions to assist their team.

  • COs may move freely on the field but can only issue mission objectives from the main base.

  • Main bases cannot be captured under any circumstances.

Forward Spawn Points:

  • Located throughout the field and can be captured via flag systems.

  • To capture: remove the current flag and place your team’s flag in the designated holder.

  • Forward spawn points are marked on the game map.

  • You may choose to respawn at any active Forward Spawn Point controlled by your team or at your Main Base.

Hit & Bleedout Rules:

  • When hit, drop where you are and display your red dead rag clearly above the waist.

  • A teammate may “move” you by placing a hand on you — they may only use their sidearm during this action, not a primary weapon.

  • If not revived within 3 minutes, you must return to a designated spawn.

  • You must remain in place for the full 3-minute bleedout even if you're eligible for a medic.

  • You may choose to respawn at any active Forward Spawn Point controlled by your team or at your Main Base.

Medic Rules (2 per life):

  • A teammate may revive you by placing a hand on you and counting aloud to 10.

  • The medic may only use a secondary weapon during the process — no primaries allowed.

  • If contact is broken or the count is interrupted, the process resets and must restart from 1.

  • After two medics per life, if hit again, you must return to spawn after the full bleedout.

Magazine Rules:

  • Mid-cap magazines only.

  • LMGs are the only exception and may use box or drum magazines.

  • HPA and AEG players are expected to follow mag capacity limitations to ensure fairness.

Operation Shadowlands 2025 – Scenario List

Marked Assassination

Description: A high-value player is marked as a critical target. Both teams must locate and eliminate the marked player — and recover proof of the kill.
Objective:

  • A designated High Value Target (HVT) is marked on the field.

  • The opposing team must eliminate the HVT and retrieve the physical marker from their body.

  • The marker must be returned to the team’s Main Base for points.

  • If the HVT survives until time expires, their team scores the points.

Capture Target

Description: A valuable item has been dropped in a contested zone. First to reach it and bring it back to base gains a strategic advantage.
Objective:

  • Retrieve the designated target (ammo box, crate, or artifact).

  • Safely transport it to your Main Base without being eliminated.

  • The item may be carried by one person — if they are eliminated, the item is dropped in place.

Bomb Run & Defuse

Description: A volatile explosive has been delivered. One team must plant and defend it at an enemy’s forward spawn, while the defenders race to disarm it.
Objective:

  • Attacking team: Deliver the bomb to an enemy-controlled Forward Spawn Point.

  • Arm the bomb using the provided prop or timer.

  • Once armed, the bomb will detonate after 5 minutes if not defused.

  • Defending team: Locate and defuse the bomb before it detonates.

  • If detonation occurs:

    • The spawn is considered destroyed — all flags are removed.

    • A red dead rag will be placed in the flag holder to indicate the spawn is out of play and cannot be captured.

    • It cannot be captured or used until an admin declares it safe to habitat and a team re-captures it.

Capture & Rescue the CO

Description: Commanding Officers (COs) are valuable assets — and vulnerable. Capture the enemy CO or rescue your own before they're lost to the enemy.
Objective:

  • COs can be captured if they are bleeding out or surrender.

  • Once captured, they can be escorted to any friendly Forward Spawn Point (not the captor’s Main Base).

  • The CO may be moved, but not into their own base.

  • To rescue a CO, a teammate must place a hand on them and count aloud for 10 seconds — the same method as a medic revive.

  • If the CO is rescued, they must be escorted back to their own Main Base to be fully returned.
