Who are we?

As we’ve shared on our homepage, we’re more than just a team – we’re a community. What started as a small group of friends with a love for airsoft has grown into something much bigger. Over time, we’ve welcomed new members who share our passion and commitment, and together, we’ve become the tight-knit, ragtag team we are today.

We may come from different backgrounds, but on the field, we are one unit – supporting, challenging, and pushing each other to be better. This community is built on camaraderie, and that’s what makes us more than just players. We’re a family.

Chris “Shadow Dragon”

Hey everyone, I’m Chris or otherwise known as Shadow Dragon, the founder of Team Shadow Airsoft and the familiar face you often see on our YouTube channel. My airsoft journey began in the summer of 2022, and from the moment I got into it, I was hooked. I dove in headfirst—buying mystery box after mystery box—and before long, my armory grew fast!

Airsoft is more than just a hobby for me; it’s become a passion that drives me to build this incredible community. I’m also a family man—married with a daughter and a son, who are always keeping life exciting!

I believe airsoft is about fun, teamwork, and building connections, which is why I’m so committed to growing Team Shadow into a strong, supportive group of players who love the game as much as I do.

James “Shadow Ranger”

I am Shadow Ranger. I am a founding member of Team Shadow Airsoft and plan to keep the family strong!

Chase “Shadow Lich”

I am Shadow Lich. I came into the team very early on and will do my best.

David “Spy Baroon”

I'm David, I started playing airsoft in 2002. In 2004 I founded the OpFor Russian MIL-SPEC team "Druzya". I went on to join S.W.A.R.M. in 2007, followed by 1st Swamp Fox SCT as a fire team leader in 2008. Left the sport to work abroad, now having more recently settled down to start a family, I've returned to airsoft. I joined TSA in 2023 and look forward to the future and growth of the team.

Jason “Shadow Gremlin”

I'm Shadow Gremlin, AKA Crazy_Jason. I got into airsoft in the early part of the summer of 2022 at the suggestion of my son when he got out of the U.S. Marine Corp. Since then I've gone pretty hard into it and have met some of the best people you can imagine that have pushed me to be a better person and start learning the tech side of our sport.

Mr Nutz “Shadow Squirrel”

Greetings in salutes I'm Squirrel, a fellow airsoft YouTuber! I got back into airsoft at the tail end of 2022, and been running full steam ever since. I'm also an Army veteran, where I refueled helicopters, and was the platoon SAW gunner. I consider myself a jack of all trades master of none, able to Macgyver anything to be a useful part of the team!

Robert “Shadow Blade”

I was in the Navy from 86-89. I got into airsoft mainly the teching side of it in 2017 building custom AEGs for people all over the country. Joined Team Shadow Dragon in 2023 and have gotten more into the playing side of it. Based in Tampa Bay, Florida

Jim “The Mad Viking”

Jim The Mad Viking, airsoft sniper and sniper rifle builder. Former U.S. Army sniper. I am from and live in Indiana. Home field is HTK outdoor in Loogootee, Indiana. Been playing airsoft for 2+ years.

Brian “Shadow Ghost”

I am Shadow Ghost, I joined the military in 2001 serving 10 years in the U.S ARMY Tier 1 Groups as a 13FOX. After the service I worked for several years as a PMC specializing in Personal protection, and CQB "Close quarter combat". I joined Team Shadow Airsoft in 2023. My home Base is Tampa Bay, Florida.

Chris “Shadow Paladin”

I’m Shadow Paladin, AKA Ackrite. I started airsoft in late 2021 to plink around in the backyard with my father. I then started going to the local field near my house to play games on the weekends where I really started to enjoy Airsoft. I appreciate the customization part of airsoft and really making the guns your own. I Joined TSA in 2023, I am based out of Northern California. Also tacos are the best.

Marc “Wraith”

I am Wraith — the death that reaches for you through the smoke. If you try to hide, I will find you. If you cower behind a wall, I will strike through them with explosive intent. If you smell gas, it's already too late.

I got into airsoft later in life than most, but I have jumped into the deep end of the pool. I tend to play more aggressively and push into objectives, favoring high-intensity CQB gunplay and grenade use. This does mean I do sustain injuries fairly often, but it's all worth it to me for the fun.

Neel “Shadow Legion”

We are Shadow Legion.

Hailing from sunny South Carolina, the Legion tackles wargames from the screen to the tabletop. Though new to Team Shadow, we are poised to stand alongside our brothers and overwhelm the competition. With FatherofZeus at the helm, we will take to the battlefield by whatever means the team may deem necessary. Whether watching from the shadows or rushing the objective in a mad dash for superiority, the Legion always dominates the terrain.
